For this individual project, I conceptualized, wrote, shot, and edited a 30-second commercial/PSA. I selected CEimpact as the company and developed a commercial to promote the launch of their 2025 Planner. The final product was featured in their marketing emails and shared across several of their social media platforms.
In this group project, we were given a script for a PSA and tasked with directing the talent while utilizing three-point lighting. Each group member was responsible for operating the camera, microphone, and lighting, ensuring proper color balance, focus, and stability in camera work. We incorporated at least three different shot types and one camera movement. The audio was carefully managed to ensure clarity and optimal levels, while guiding the talent to ensure comfort in front of the camera and minimizing mistakes for seamless editing.
In this individual project, I was tasked with creating an episodic promo, trailer, or sizzle reel for a television show. Through careful editing of 2-3 storylines, sound bites, graphics, effects, music, and voiceover, the promo was designed to hint at the episode's content while highlighting the actors and engaging viewers. The final product aimed to spark interest and encourage the audience to tune in.
In this class project, we worked as a singular cohesive team, where we performed and executed a news cast. In this project I was given the role of Video Playback Operator. I had to sort through all of the videos to be used for playback and correctly time their starts, and keep the Director informed about how much time in the video was left, so that it was also a smooth transition from the active video to whatever came next.
In this class project, we worked as one team, where we performed a Sports Broadcast. In this project I was assigned the role of Audio Operator. I had to manage audio levels throughout the broadcast, keeping them from getting too loud or too quiet.
